HelpWildlife.co.uk is maintained by a very small team of people involved in British wildlife rehabilitation. The site was founded in 2005 when it became apparent that the amazing resource that the internet provides was not being fully utilised to help with wildlife issues.


Time and again we saw questions on internet forums and the like concerning injured wildlfe or pest control. We also witnessed a distresing amount of misinformation about how to handle these situations. There was clearly a need for a site which provided informed but unbiased advice.


Our volunteers trawl the internet gathering details of those who might be able to help our injured wild friends so that they can be found quickly and easily in an emergency. This is extremely time consuming so we are always grateful for more help. This really is a community project so we ask visitors to get involved and provide feedback on the listings published here in order to ensure they are kept as up to date as possible.
