Please note - a listing on this site is not an endorsement. You are strongly advised to check the policies of each organisation before surrendering an animal to them, especially if it is of a species some might misguidedly consider "vermin" eg pigeon, squirrel, mouse or rat.

We include email addresses for the rescues where we have them but please do not email re casualties. A busy rescue may only check their email periodically so please phone if you need help with a bird or animal.

Our volunteers work hard to keep these listings up to date but your help with this is very much needed and appreciated. If you contact one of the centres listed and find that the details are wrong, the web link is broken or they are no longer operating PLEASE contact us using the "Feedback" links below. Likewise if you know of an organisation not listed please tell us so that we can add them to our pages.

Many wildlife rescues really struggle to survive. You can help by calling ahead to make sure they can assist; delivering small casualties to them and making a donation towards the care of your casualty (if not cash then rescues also appreciate donations of towels, newspapers and tins of cat food).
