Wildlife Rescues in Wales

Please bear in mind that many of these rescues are run from peoples homes, so it is always best to call first to make sure they can help, rather than just turn up. Most places will also be charities relying on volunteers and donations. So if possible it helps if you can take the animal to them rather than asking them to collect. It is also much appreciated if you can make a donation towards the care of your casualty. It needn't be much but it all helps. If you don't have spare cash most rescues appreciate donations of old towels, newspapers and tins of cat food.

We have tried to give some indication of the species each rescue can deal with but this is only a guide - it is certainly worth trying a number in your area even if they don't appear from our information to cater for the species you are seeking help for. Even if they can't help themselves, they may be able to direct you to someone locally who can. If you cannot find a rescue who can help in your area then please call
St Tiggywinkles . They hold their own list of wildlife rescues and should be able to refer you to someone suitable or offer further advice

Unfortunately we cannot have direct experience of all the rescues here so please do not take their being listed here as endorsement of any organisation. If you have any feedback on the listings and your experiences of the rescues listed here or if you know of any other wildlife rescues not listed please
